Qlear is a personal debt management tool built to help individuals in the United Kingdom understand and plan their path to becoming debt free. References to “Qlear”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this policy refer to the Qlear service.
Qlear operates entirely within your browser. All data you enter, including debt balances, income figures, payment dates, and any other financial information, is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage on your own device.
We do not collect any of the following:
Your data is saved in your browser's local storage so that it persists between sessions. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party. If you clear your browser data or use a different browser or device, your Qlear data will not be available.
You can delete all your Qlear data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, or by using the export function and then deleting the stored data manually.
If you choose to submit feedback through the feedback feature, that feedback is sent to us directly. Feedback submissions may include the text you write and the category you select. We do not link feedback to any personal identity. Please do not include personal or financial information in your feedback messages.
In its current form, Qlear does not integrate with any third-party services. A future version may integrate with Open Banking providers (such as TrueLayer) to automatically synchronise your account balances. If and when that integration is added, this policy will be updated to reflect how that data is handled, and you will be required to provide explicit consent before any connection is established.
Qlear is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has submitted data through Qlear, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
